How can I get money for college?

Does anyone know how I can get money for College?

  • I'm a second semester Freshman in College as of right now; I need scholarships! Ive filled out the FAFSA, but i cant get ANY financial aid bc my parents make too much money... They will not pay for me though, so what am I suppose to do?! goodness, does someone know anyone or somewhere i can get some money so i can continue in college??! I can't do it on my own; well i suppose I could but I would be in debt the rest of my life. PLEASE NOTE i don't want to legally separate myself from my parents. I don't want to join the military right now... maybe later I've already filled out the FAFSA (once again) can anyone give me something here? PLEASE AND THANK YOU!

    Go to www.fastweb.com. It is free to join. It shows you all available scholarships for your college; for your major that are offered by organizations, etc.

So, since you filled out the FAFSA...you should've been approved to get the Stafford Loans. Everyone's allowed to get those! But...try STUDENTAID.ED.GOV Also, talk to your college financial aid office. Ask them about scholarships and grants. Get a job (on-campus or during the summer...camp counselor, grocery bagger?). Do you belong to any organizations, or a church? Maybe a rotary club or lions club? They may have scholarships/grants. Maybe talk to your former high school's guidance counelor for help? Or other local colleges, about scholarships/grants? Go to your state's department of education and check out scholarships/grants there. You can google it, like "New Hampshire Department of Education" or something. Do you work? Maybe your workplace or your parents' have a scholarship or grant or tuition break? Try going to community college instead for a while, then transfer?
