How to find Scholarships (High School Students)?

I'm a sophmore in high school and i was wondering how can i find/get scholarships. I've heard that there are thousands of scholarships but where can i find them? I've heard of scholarships that you can get just for playing an instrument, being left hand and etc. thank you soooooooooooooo much in advanced :)

Your best bet would be local scholarships. You can find them by talking to a school counselor or adviser. I tried scholarships.com but never had any luck. Since you are a sophomore you still have time to join organizations that will help you get scholarships. Any school organization will help. Also, figuring out what you want to major in gives you an edge. Some scholarships are just for Nursing Degrees or Business Degrees...ect. If you have decided which college you want to attend look at their scholarships, which should be online. Tip: Write one really good essay about your goals and why you deserve a certain scholarship. Then you can substitute names and tweak it to fit many essay requirements for a scholarship.
