How much is the yearly tuition for international students in the US?

Does anyone know approximately how much the tuition are fees at FIDM for international students?

  • I would REALLY REALLY like to go to FIDM after I graduate high school and major in fashion design, however, it is already expansive as it is but I am an international student and I've heard that having that status you have to pay a whole lot more for colleges. I have been trying to find the tuition fees for the fashion design major at FIDM for international students but I can't seem to find it anywhere (even on their website). The only thing I know is that international students have to pay $525 for application fees while in-state students pay $225....If anyone knows please please PLEASE tell me! My parents are not very stable financially and the economic crisis hit them real hard and i will probably have to pay for almost all my college and I would like to know ASAP so that i can start making plans for my future. Anyone who can answer this question for me will be a lot of help! Thank you!

    FIDM doesn't have a very good reputation in the industry. In that area of CA, the best fashion design programs are at Otis School of Design, and Cal State LA. In the US, the best programs are the Fashion Institute of Technology, and Parsons School of Design. Also good are Purdue West Lafayette, Kent State U, U Cincinnati, RISD, Drexel. Many unis don't offer a separate tuition rate for international students. Some do. It's quite possible that, if you're on the FIDM site and don't see a separate rate, there is not one. But to be sure, email admissions.
