Could I get into Penn State University Park?

• Im currently a junior in highschool. I want to major in civil engineering, but I'll be enlisting in the NROTC and hopefully join the Naval Corps of Engineers. Below is my information. Ive taken the SAT once so far and plan on doing so probably 2 more times. GPA: 4.1 weighted SAT Score: 1540 (first time) 550 math, 500 reading, 490 writing (They suck so far) I take all honors and one AP which I dropped my lunch for. Those are the highest level classes a junior can take in my school. Ive played baseball for 3 years and have been in marching band for three years. I volunteer at my church and for a county park. Ive never been in any trouble in school or with the law. And if it matters, Im from New Jersey. I want to know how well my chances are to get accepted into University Park, your honesty is appreciated. Thanks

  Honestly I attended Penn State U Park from 04-08. I got accepted into the school with far less credentials than you. My gpa was 3.3 and my sat was a 1470. I had no volunteer work or ap classes on my transcript. I got in as a traditional student. So you have a very good chance of getting accepted. Contrary to ones belief its PSU isn't a tough school to get into.
