How do you get a scholarship? Are there Scholarship contests?

Those scholarship contests are almost impossible to win. I mean there are thousands and thousands of students doing that. Chances of winning is low. THe best way of getting a scholarship is through your school. My college gave me a scholarship just for taking their high school extension program (college classes) in high school. on top of that, now that i'm in college, I made the deans list and now they are giving me a $1000 discount from my tuition. Also my other scholarship is from my parents job. Their job gives away scholarship only to the kids of employees only and no one else. So your best bet of a scholarship is through your school and your parents job or if have one through your job.

Your school's website should have links to scholarship applications. Mostly you just apply for them or you will be rewarded without application for your high grades. Some do, however, require you to submit essays or work that shows in some way why you deserve the money.
