What's the Process of College Application?

College application process question? (financial aid)?

• so i have just finished submitting my last of 6 applications on the common app. and i was looking at the college admission checklists for all of my college and i realized that some colleges say that i have to "apply for financial aid" or "complete financial aid waiver" do i fill this out now or after i get accepted? and do i have to fill it out? also as a side note on the commonapp where it says something like "do u intend to apply for financial aid?" i said yes. i am really confused so any little help will be greatly appreciated! thanks!

  Basically the school is asking you if you want to take financial aid or deny even applying for it. You have said that you have an interest in financial aid. If you are planning to get into school Fall 2012, you have already done all you can. Once it is January and your (and your families) taxes have been filled out you can apply for financial aid via the fafsa website www.fafsa.ed.gov
