Student Loan question....Please help!!?
-
Hi I was offered a student loan for $3500 ($1700 a semester). I can view my financial aid account online and the loan offer must be accepted before i get a check. I am going down to the school on friday so the financial aid office can help me accept it. Is there a certain amount of time that i have to accept the loan? Once it is offered to me can they take it away if i dont accept it immediately. Thank you for the help.

Answer:
I'm sure there is a deadline to accept. I wouldn't worry about that. You can accept it and then go right back and decline it if you change your mind The kicker is when you cash that check and spend it- then you'll owe it.
