For those in Pharmacy School?

Pharmacy School Tuition Costs...?

  • *Sorry its so long* I am an under grad. trying to get into a Profession Pharmacy school within the next year or two. Once graduating Pharmacy School, making around 6 figures. How much is too much for tuition,( or is there a too much?) currently undergraduate is going to cost me around 20K total. WVU in state pharmacy tuition is $13,000 a year (which definitely sounds WONDERFUL) but Pre req gpa is tough! University of Charleston is $30,000 a year and probably easiest to get into gpa wise. Marshall University's pharmacy school opens next year ( I currently attend here) and the tuition cost will be around $16000 a year. Even if I end up going out of state to say University of PItt, lets say out of state tuition is around $50,000 a year? What amount is too much for a professional school for four years? Give me your opinions please!!

  • Answer:

too much is relative to what you can afford most pharmacists don't make 6 figures until after they have years of experience you need to budget on a normal starting pay If you don't know what that pay is, then you need to spend a great deal of time talking to folks in the field my brother-in-law is a pharmacist I have other friends who are also pharmacists
