I want to go to school, how do i get financial aid?
-
I'm 21 and I still live with my parents. I want to go to college and i definitely will need financial aid. I have a job, but my pay checks go to my car, insurance ,and other bills. When i was in high school I wanted to apply for financial aid, but they asked for information on my parents and my dad and i do not get along so he didn't want to help. Can i apply for financial aid without my parents help?

Answer:
Unless you are married, have a dependent child, are over the age of 24 or in the military, you are a dependent and would need your parent's information (or the parent you lived with most during the year) for the FAFSA.
