I'm afraid that no one will be able to walk you through the entire form, step-by-step, because your "helper" would really have to be able to sit down with you and have all of your documents and paperwork available. If you're a high school student, I would strongly recommend that you visit the guidance office at your school, or, better yet, the college advisor. Sitting with you, and working through the form, step-by-step, will enable that person to help you through the parts that are confusing you. The only thing that I can suggest is that you try using this form, which is the preparatory worksheet that the Department of Education recommends to help you prepare to complete the FAFSA. If you follow the simple instructions, you'll slowly gather together most of the information that you'll need to actually fill in the FAFSA. That worksheet is here: http://ifap.ed.gov/fafsa/attachments/20082009FOTWWorksht(en-color)111907.pdf I hope this helps you - but I would still recommend that you work with someone in person - to help you through the parts you don't understand. Good luck!
