What are some affordable universities in Canada for international students?

Are there any grants and bursaries for international students going to university in Canada?

  It depends on the school and where you're from. For example, if you were from the States, you would be eligible for the U.S. Stafford Loan and your parents would be eligible for the Parents PLUS Loan if the school is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. I suspect you're not from the States though ... the terminology you used in your question gave you away :*). That said, each school's catalog (whether in print or on their website) should list what scholarships/bursaries are available to in-coming first year (and beyond) international students. I'm not sure if it's the same in other countries, but in the States scholarship and grant money originating here must be spend here (not for studying in another country). My son attends university in Canada (we're from the States) and has thus far been unable to find any scholarships or bursaries outside of what his specific university offers.
