I need slight help with filling out the FAFSA.

Need help filling out fafsa!!!!?

  • So I have already started to fill out the fafsa online but I'm having trouble with answering some of the questions. For example it's asking me how many people are in the household and how many people are going to attending college. I was assign a guardian by children's court, my dad's ex girl friend took me in. Anyway things ended bad and she kicked me out a week before my 18 birthday so now i live with my mom's cousin. Do I put that I live with her? She also is in college so am I suppose to put that we are both going to college? I really dont know what to put.. and I also get SSI do I put that info in there?

    If you have the court document that you were in legal guardianship you would be considered an independent student. You would have one person in the household and one person in college. The SSI would go under 'untaxed income'.
