How to get living expenses if my school doesn't offer it?
-
I am trying to enroll in cosmetology school. the school that i am interested in doesn't offer living expenses but I qualify for full financial aid. Is there a way to get living expenses through fasfa even if my school doesn't offer it? I am really in need of any information. classes start soon but I can't afford to go without living expenses.

Answer:
Your aid can't exceed the school's cost of attendance. So if your school has a cost of attendance of $2500, then all of your aid can be more then that. Schools determine their own COA so if your school decides not to put living expenses in the COA, then you can't get any more money.
