How do I get accepted into AVID?

Accepted to college, how do i figure out how much money I will get/need?

• I've been accepted to Ball State, and I have an EFC of 0. I haven't yet accepted my admission because i'm not sure where to go from here with figuring out how much money i will need to get a loan for and if i will even be able to afford it. If i just call the college should financial aid be able to tell me exactly how much i will get or do i need to accept my admission before that? What dept would i talk to about a work/study type job to help pay tuition? I live about 4 hours away from the school, so driving is an option if i must, but i would rather not. thanks

  Well fill out your FAFSA and you usually get results back pretty quickly. I go to college and financial aid covers most of it, but I have to pay at least $200.00 a semester. But call the college and they can tell you how many students get aid and how much they get based on past results. For work study (i think it's different at some schools) I talked to financial aid and they actually directed me to the department chair I needed.
