Answer:
Your schedule can be taylored to what is best for you. When you hears someone say they are taking 12 hours, that means they are physically in class for 12 hours a week. Yes, a week!! Most classes are only on tues and thursd or mon wed and fridays. Depending on the classes, you can choose the times... lots of freshman level classes are offered lots of different times. 9 and 10 am classes are pretty popular. I used to stack my classes all on tuesdays and thursdays so I would have a 4 day weekend. It would look like something like this: My Schedule Sample T and Th 8-9:30 Freshman comp T and Th 9:30-11:00 Humanities T and Th 11-12:30 College Algebra T and Th 1-2:30 Psychology T and Th 2:30-4:00 Biology Total 16 college credit hours Most students have enrolled in their classes already (some schools start enrolling for fall back way back in March or April. Hope you don't try to pick classes at all the good times and find out everything is full. another persons schedule might look like this MWF 9-10 Freshman Comp MWF 10-11 Psychology TT 11-12:30 Humanities TT 2:00 330 College Algebra Wed 5pm-10 Biology

It depends on the college, but mostly upon you. Unlike high school, you set up the classes that you want and need to take. You have to take your general education classes( college requirements) and classes that you would enjoy taking. I went to a junior college, and most of my classes were during the day because I am a day time person. But like I said it depends on you. Also try not to take more than 12 credit hours( 12 credit hours are considered full time, experienced learned You don't want to start off with more than you can handle.

40 hours for lectures per week and some for work to make up for the loan repayment. It's going to be hardwork with pleasure.

College is a great thing. And college is nothing like high school. In high school, you have classes that almost last all day, but in college, you get to pick how you want your classes (you can start your day with a math class and end your day with a chemistry class). You get to pick the days you want your classes (you can have classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (three days a week), or you can have them on Tuesdays and Thursdays (two days a week)), Now, the classes on MWF are an hour whereas the classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays are an hour and twenty minutes. You can schedule your day where your class can start at 9 in the morning and your last class will end at 4 in the afternoon. Sometimes you can have breaks in between classes (anywhere from an hour or more). Great, huh? :) But here's another thing: it also depends on what class you want to take. Some professors might have the class you want on Tuesdays and Thursdays instead of MWF. The class you want might be late in the afternoon or early in the morning. You have the decision of when you want your classes. Your schedule is what you make of it. You can always get advised as to what classes you should take, but it's up to you to make your schedule. Just don't get pulled into the whole 'party-all-night-every-night' type thing. College is great for doing that. You get to meet people from all different walks of life, old and young. If you are serious about your future don't go looking to socialize and party. That'll ruin you for sure. It'll mess with your grades, destroy your GPA, and you'll never graduate, so don't get tempted by some party-goers. Don't fall into that death trap. And one more thing: when you register for classes, do it as early as you can because classes can get filled up fast. Hope I helped!

You schedule when your classes will be, unless a certain class is full. I'm at a 2 yr. tech. community college as full-time and go for about an hour each day then web classes whenever I can before I go to work.
