Do I have To Pay My Finacial Aid Money Back?

  • Ok I'm in communtiy college and i'm getting finacial aid money to go to school with. I'm curently taking three classes and i know i'm passingone but the other two i think i'm failing? And i plan on quiting community college and going to trade school. and i jus wanna know first of all am i goanna be required to pay any of the fiancial aid back because the two out of three classes i'm failing. and will i still be able to qualify for finacial aid if the trade school had financial aid??????

    I don't know what type of Financial Aid you received if it was a federal pell grant through FASFA then you never (under any circumstances) have to pay that money back.

If your failing 2 out of 3 than your gpa will be lowered. If it goes below a 2.0 than you will be put on suspension which means no matter what school you go to you have to pay the costs until your gpa goes back above a 2.0 (normally that means take some easy classes so you can get an A). Just because you fail does not mean you have to pay the aid back but if you have any loans then once your out of school for 6 months you'll be required to pay them back.

yes when you accept it there is stipulation that you keep a certain gpa I think its only 2.0 though. If you do not get that then yes you will have to pay it back before can reapply Good Luck

You only have to pay back financial aid if you pass the classes so you should start trying to fail your third class so that you won't owe anything once you quit school.
