If I apply for a small student loan from Sallie-Mae, then transfer to a more expensive school...please read?
-
Right now I am a community college, which I plan to stay at for one more semester (I'm saving some money by getting my core classes done first). I paid for this semester out of pocket, but by January I will have to go to student loans. The tuition at my current school is really low, so I will only need a small loan to begin with. However, by next fall, I will be transferring to a private college that costs 30K+ a year to begin my major. If I get a small loan from Sallie-Mae, would I be able to get a larger one when I transfer?
