How should I start this scholarship essay?

I know what to write already, but I need help with the introductory sentence. Can someone give me a sample introductory sentence? All I need is a model of how to writer my first sentence. The prompt is "Why do you want to enter the profession or skilled trade of your choice? Why should you be considered for a scholarship? How will receipt of this scholarship help to enable you to achieve your goal of higher education?"
Answer:

Are you still in high school? If so, you could always ask your English teacher. I'm sure he/she would be glad to help you! "Getting this scholarship would mean a great deal to me. It would help me achieve my goals and have a better future" I would type a rough draft and maybe have your English teacher read over it and tell you how to improve it.
