What can you do with the Pell Grant?

Didn't qualify for pell grant. What other aid can I get?

  • So a few days ago I applied for the FAFSA and today I checked my SAR. Apparently I have an EFC of 09247 and unfortunately did not qualify for the Pell Grant. However it also states that I may qualify for other aid and that my school will use my EFC to determine my financial aid eligibility for other federal grants, loans, and work study, and possible funding from my state and school. So basically I am wondering if there is any way I can recieve any aid as my family is really tight with money right now. Thanks

  • Answer:

at this point... there nothing we can do to answer this question the ONLY place you will get answers is from the school you have applied to they can tell you what, if any, other type of aid you are eligible for it sounds like you will be eligible for student loans
