Does financial aid pay for a Masters degree?

    Financial Aid will pay for a Master's degree, but you will not get Pell Grants, SEOG, etc.; you will be able to get student loans. I currently have a friend who is working on her second master's degree, while obtaining students loans. She is about to finish the second master's and enter a Ph.D. program.

Yes!! You can get federal loans to pay for your Master's degree. However, you CANNOT get federal grants. Other things to look into: Scholarships Work study See if you can get a Teaching Assistantship! (Generally, TAs have most of if not all of their tuition paid and also receive a monthly stipend.)
