How much will I get from the Pell Grant?

How much money will I get from my Pell Grant Refund at community college.?

• I am going to a local Community College in Arkansas. This is my first semester and well the money is tight at the moment. Financial Aid tells me nothing but to check with them in 7 weeks for some, and 12 weeks for the other half.. No one is giving me any amounts or help.. So I don't even know if I need a loan for my rent/food/needs.. I talk to them then about a loan and do the paperwork and they just say well contact you in 4 weeks or so about the loan and about how they will not approve anyone for more than 800~1,000$ regardless of our situation.. I also tried sites like Sally Mae or w/e and my school is Accredited but not on there option list :( Its like i'm screwed either way. Here is what my award letter states though. Estimated Cost ......... 10,672 Family Help ......... 0 Financial Need ......... 10,672 Awarded ......... 2,775 Unmet Need .......... 7,897 My semester is totally payed for along with my books, I am just unsure what these numbers mean. I am looking for a job I am new to this city and I have no income, food hardly, not to mention even clothes for school or a home PC. Cars about to die any day to :( Everyone I talk to at FA will not seem to help me and just brush me off. I just don't know what I am going to do seeing as this city has no public transportation or jobs hardly.

  The Estimated Cost & Financial Need is how much the school is going to cost for tuition,books,extra stuff etc. Your Family help is the same as EFC, which means they are not believed to give you anything for college You are going to get $2,7775 every semester. Unmet Need is how much just your cost of schooling subtract the pell grant which equals to the amount of money you aren't going to get. You will probably got to take out a loan especially if there is no transportation, I am in a similar situation stay strong brother & vote democrat.
