How to get a Scholarship or sponsorship for a college in the USA?

  • I am a keen footballer currently living in the U.K. I am hoping to reach the USA to start a career in football and even better get a degree in my studies. I have been told by many that I am good enough and have been at 2 major youth clubs, however I was released from the clubs. I wanted to know the process of how to get a scholarship or get a sponsorship and how and when I should apply for it. Right now, I am 17 and doing my first year in college with A-levels. Thanks for your help.

    I would try out fastweb.com. You create a profile and they find scholarships that will work for you. Then all you have to do is fill out the information (some of them you have to write essays) and send the information to the company. They will inform you if you get any scholarships by e-mail. there are grants all over the us that if you complete college or get your degree but if you drop out you have to pay the off the esyiest eay is to get a job at UPS ( lol )

I would recommend fastweb myself. It has good scholarships on there and the personlaized profile helps the site choose scholarships that you qualify for. Scholarships.com is another good one. I have accounts with both. They are both free. Good luck.
