Charles did understand your question. He answered it in a roundabout way, but his answer was more concise and understandable than your question. I don't think you should be a nurse either; you are on the right track with that. First of all, your question is barely understandable- and to be a nurse, you need to be very intelligent, work hard, and be good at communicating with others. And second of all, if you have talent and want to be a photographer, go for it! Like Charles said, there are many careers that involve photography, and are still well paying. You could be a photo journalist (which would allow you to be a photographer, and still earn a good living). You could work for newspapers, magazines, etc- be a photographer and make money. I know that you are interested in financial aid right now, but also think about what happens after college, after the financial aid runs out. In the long run, do what will make you happy- but keep in mind the practical aspects of life.

Try fastweb.com. You type in all of your information, and they'll show you a bunch of scholarships that you might be eligible for. I've searched many, many scholarship sites, and this one is the best by far. I definitely think you should go for your dream. You're the one who is going to be doing it for the rest of your life, not your dad.

to love is to live

Use your mom's income to apply for FAFSA (Pell Grant) to pay for your tuition. Apply to the school where you want to go and do what you want to do. It is your life. Be happy!

maybe you should not keep the field so narrow....there are lots of careers that include photography ie photo journalism, etc. whatever you do eventually your going to have to make a living at what you do. you may or may not like it but a good job can provide funds to pursue other interest hobbies. Nursing is good money say for 18 months off school as a LPN or two years of school as a AS RN you can expect to earn between 20-40 $hourly that's good money to use towards pursuing other hobbies careers
