Can you still receive financial aid without a green card?

Can you use financial aid money to buy non school stuff?

• can you use the money you get from financial aid to buy other things such as clothes..food...games...whatever non school-related stuff without consequence? is the spending tracked ? will i receive less or something in the future if someone finds out ive used the money on non-school related things? etc. etc. additional: the way financial aid money is distributed at my college is through a debit card, the money is electronic and not cash.

  yes you can but it is not recommended that you do that. if you have loans you must remember that you have to pay this back so do not spend it on things you do not need. I dont think you can get in trouble, I recently bought a car(cash of course) with my financial aid which I think is a good investment. Just spend wisely and you should be okay. Oh, well then it should be fine. Also, I have never heard of anyone having consequences from spending financial aid funds. :) Good luck!
