Can I apply for student loan without the FASFA?

Whats too late to apply for a student loan, not fasfa?

  • I received financial aid. I was completely covered, but I need some money. Is it too late to apply for private loan ?

  • Answer:

As long as you are in school, it is never too late to apply for a private student loan. If it was paying tuition for classes and going to your school, the school would need to be involved in certifying the loan but if it's just for you to use for expenses it will be based on your credit and you can apply according to the policies of whatever credit union or bank you are going to seek funding from. You may have to find out the academic loan period you are locked into but there isn't a deadline for a private loan.
