Where can I get donations?

How could i go about setting up a site where i can get donations to help put me thru cooking school?

I want something legit where i can post progress reports, grades and accomplishments, etc., so people know they would be really helping someone. i'm not looking to scam anybody i really want to go toschool and i figure if people could just give me a dime a peice it would all add up in the end and my dream could be made a reality. can anybody help me and give me some advice or stick with me and help walk me thru it? i really think it could be possible and would surely help my situation, thanks

  As long as you are being honest in how you will use the money, I think you are in good shape legally. For payment, use paypal. It'll be the easiest for people to transfer money. For the website, I think you will probably need to buy your own domain and write your own webpage. If you are doing some simple pages, you can find decent programs free online. I think your biggest problem will be to get people aware of the site.
