You really need to look into all the programs and services that are offered on your campus. I attend college in San Diego and students can get emergency book loans. McGraw-HIll, SW Learning, Prentice Hall and a number of other publishers have online companion websites of their textbooks. You can usually view the entire first chapter from the site. You will find chapter quizzes, tests, powerpoint presentations, detailed summaries of each chapter, and sometimes interactive games. You will be surprised at what you'll be able to find.

Wow Im sorry to hear that, you could go ask your teachers if they have online books, or borrow books. also there are plenty of websties you can go to that have books for really cheap prices. Once you open a book its used already so it shouldnt matter if its new or gently used. try half.com, addallbooks.com, ebay.com, barnesandnoble.com. the list goes on. good luck sweety!

yeah, my teachers are always offering books to students who really need them. just tell them your situation and make a friend who would study with you. me and my friends share books. its easy that way.

I have shared my books with students many times when they didn't have one... try that :D
