Can you have more than one Stafford loan at the same time?

I have fedral stafford loan and may drop a class?

  • I have a fed. stafford loan for about $2500. I already got the 1st disbursement and will be getting the 2nd one MArch 27th. The thing is I want to drop a class thats really difficult in doing so I wouldn't be fuill time anymore . Would this affect me getting my loan?

  • Answer:

You need to be enrolled at least half time at your school to get your Federal Staffford Loan disbursement. After the semester has started and you the loan funds have been paid to your school account, then the loan will likely only have to be returned if you do a complete withdrawal (drop all of your classes). If you drop all of your classes then the financial aid office will run the federal calculation to see how much (if any) of your loans will be sent back to the feds. If you have any questions specific to your school's policy I would recommend contacting the financial aid office at your school.

howdy, if you are on this site looking for a loan help or assistance, then you are in the wrongest place, look 90% of the people here are just scammers and schemers, i cannot tell you where to go for a loan but my cousin Melissa told me a guy she met on a Singaporean website his name is James and you can contact by email on [email protected] try him and see if he will be able to assist you. Do not fall for cheap scams.

It depends on how many hours you are enrolled in. If you are in 15 and that takes you down to 12, you'll be okay. If you are at 12 and you go to 9, then yes you have a problem. It is prob too late to add a class this semester. You will never graduate if you drop a class when it becomes difficult.

yes, it means that the school will likely refund the money for the class not taken, if you have a pell grant and you drop to part time they will take that away

You would probably have to add another class. I would call them if they have a 24hr customer rep to talk to.
