What is financial aid disbursement?

Will I get my financial Aid disbursement check if my aid was suspended mid semester?

• I was informed last week that I didn't meet the required credit hours needed in the length of time given so my financial aid had been suspended and I would only qualify for it again if I complete a certain amount of credit hours. The only aid I get is student loans, will I still receive my disbursement check for the remaining amount of my loan that was not used this semester?

  If you attempted enough credits to be considered at least a half-time student (assuming you are in a term-based credit hour program) your eligibility for your current semester should not be affected. If there is a credit balance, you should receive your check. You might consider using that money to help fund your subsequent semester.
