St Francis college Brooklyn?

St. Francis College (Brooklyn Heights) Offers Good Financial aid Package? If this a good school?

• i'm a senior student doing my associate degree I was thinking of applying to St. Francis College which is located in Brooklyn New York. I was wondering if anyone who is attending or who has attended the school, is it a good school and what about the financial aid package? Thanks

  I'm not personally familiar with this college, but a quick look at the website indicates that it has a fairly low tuition for a private school, but also limited institutional resources and these appear to be limited to students with the best grades. In a nutshell, this means that unless you are an outstanding student, you will probably get very little aid beside the federal funds you would get at any college. However, financial aid packages are different for each student, so the only way you would know is to apply. Comments from students at a couple of rating websites were mostly very favorable, which is a good thing. Usually only people who have something to complain about respond to ratings surveys, so you expect more bad comments than good. The lack of complaints suggests that most people are happy with the school, but a better way to find out is to visit there and ask some students who are currently attending what they think. One thing that the majority of the comments mentioned was how small and "cozy" the school is. That might be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on what you are looking for.
