Where can i get bigger student loan?

Im a student w/ bad credit, but noone will co-sign a loan, where can I get a student loan with bad credit?

  • I am a student with bad credit, well not enough good credit anyways, and I've already been denied a few loans without co-borrowers. I'm not sure where else to turn to finish the payments on my college. There is a hold on my student account because I owe the school money so I can't register for spring 2007 semester. No one will co-sign for me, either my parents are jerks and they just dont want to co-sign for me, or I have a sister and a few friends that say they just dont have the credit to co-sign and all I need is a loan for about $6,500.00 which really isn't much. Where could I find a loan that would allow me to sign without a co-borrower if I still have bad credit?

    Hello there, The last responder is correct, you do not need a co-signer for stafford or direct loans.. I work with Student Aid Lending, we are a nationwide lender administed by the Department of Education.. We are a lender so we can both give you loans for college, and consolidation loans once graduating.. It sound like you need answers to questions but cant get help from the school.. Thuis is very common.. Usually financial aid offices at schools have about 6 employees to serve thousands of students.. It doesnt make much sense.. The only student loan that is not credit-based is the Stafford federal student loan, which requires you to file your FAFSA. http://www.StaffordLoan.com

Federal students loans, such as the Stafford loan or the Direct loan do not require a co-signer or good credit. They are based on need. I am assuming you have filed your FAFSA. As long as you have the current FAFSA on file you are eligible for federal student loans. Go to your college and talk to the financial aid office. They can explain more about federal student loans and give you the papers to fill out. Good luck!

Don't feel defeated, there are many loan providers who can help you. Just spent few minutes on Yahoo or Google and search for some bad credit loan providers near you. There are many sites which offer Free - No Obligation Quotes for persons with bad credit. If co-borrower is dificult for you they can also suggest you to repair your bad credits.

Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution. I will hereby talk from my personal experience.
