How do I defer student loan?

Does anyone know of a place that will defer my student loan for 2 years, until after my LDS mission?

  • So I wish to go to flight school before my mission to get a head start. But I need to take out a loan to do so and I wish I could find somewhere that will allow me to defer my payments while im in school, and on my mission for two years. I'm having a hard time finding a way to do this. Is it even possible? Are there any returned missionaries out there that have done this? If not, what would be the next best option? (Besides waiting until after my mission)

    Most major colleges will do that. Certainly BYU will. The Air Force Academy and other military schools will. The University of Utah will. Most PAC 10 schools will. Check with your college adviser.
