Stafford loan repayment?
-
I am on a stafford loan half time. I will have to drop one of my classes to go back to work due to financial reasons. Will my loan start soon or will I have six months until I start to pay back loan.

Answer:
Depends... have you ever been in repayment before? Have you ever consolidated your loans before? If not, you should have a 6 month grace period. As long as you start back up at half time enrollment before your 6 months are up, you should be fine. If you have consolidated or have ever been in repayment, you won't have a grace period and will begin repayment right away.

You should still have the 6 month grace period to begin repaying loan. I would still go to www.fafsa.ed.gov to double check though. Good luck with school and work!!
