Am I going to be eligible to any college grants?

I am 21, going back to college, need scholarships and grants, help?

  • i really want to go back to school, and i found a school i love, but after i fell in love with it i realized the price was way out of my reach....i attended college out of high school, then dropped out because i was not doing well because i wasnt interested in the major...ive found out what i want to do and where i want to learn to do it....but i need grants and/or scholarships or i'll never be able to go there...in high school i didnt fill out much for scholarships and grants...and now when i look most are for students straight out of high school...and that obviously doesnt apply to me...please help wit advice or websites to go to with scholarships that would fit me..........i also am not a minority of any kind, no red hair, not super short, so none of those random scholarships would apply to me either...please help me

    If you want to find scholarships specific for you and not get spammed (Fastweb is horrible about this), I suggest using the following resources: ScholarshipExperts.com (rated the best by Forbes since 2003), Collegeboard.org (a leader in college planning process) and Schoolsoup.com (largest database on the Internet) Be sure to apply to 5-10 every month and keep applying until you finish your degree. Most people give up after a few applications, so don't make this mistake. Believe in yourself and keep at it!

fastweb.com it has a lot of great scholarships! You join for free and make a profile with academic info and it finds scholarships that match up to you. Hope this helps and good luck :)

Judging by your assertion that you absolutely can't afford this school, I have to assume: (a) you've submitted your FAFSA, (b) you've applied to and been accepted by your dream college and (c) you've been offered a really lousy financial aid package by your dream college. There is no other way you could possibly know for sure you can't afford this school. If those three factors are not the case, you need to try again.
