How to get a student loan?

How can i get a student loan and where? experience?

  • I'm 17 years old and live in illinois but im going to college this fall in florida. I already received a scholarship for 7,500 from the university for each year. I also applied for fafsa which said i'm applicable for a grant worth around 5,000. The school however costs 33,000 dollars which includes my room. Doing the math im going to need a 20,000 dollar loan. I tried applying for one, with my dad as a cosigner, at the bank that we use, but they denied it due to my dads bad credit. I cant take it out myself because i have no credit and im too young. I start school in a month and a half and I need to be able to pay the tuition. I'm freaking out!!!!!! I have no back up plan because i always thought that you could take out a student loan easily, especially if youre a full time student. does anyone know of any banks that will give student loans without basing it on credit? what else can i do?? please help me :(

kam sorry to say, but you cannot get loan with the amount of 20000 dollars, or ask your college admin area that they can compensate some of the amount or you will be able to pay on next semester
