Transfer from community college?

Should I Go to community college and transfer from there to a 4 year university?

• Background on me: I am currently a senior in high school and I'll be graduating this May. I have a 3.89 GPA, a 28 composite ACT score and a 1250 SAT. I'm also very active in my school's athletics and clubs. I have been accepted to Mizzou, wait listed by UCSD and I am still waiting on a decision from Florida Southern College. At this point, the biggest factor influencing my decision between these three colleges is cost, and so Mizzou seems like the best option because I live in Missouri and so the tuition is cheapest. The issue is that I have not won enough scholarship money from Mizzou to allow me to avoid debt. At this point I would incur roughly $13,500 in loan debt each year, assuming that I win none of the private scholarships I've applied for. My parents have no money or credit to help me, but are very supportive. I'm wondering if it would be in my best interest to go to community college for say 2 years before transferring my credit to a 4 year university. I've heard of others doing this before to save money, but I'm not sure if it is right for me. I want to study physical therapy and fulfill the pre-med regiment so that I can potentially go to med school and become a physician. Mizzou definitely has the programs to allow me to follow that path, but it seems like the amount of debt that would come with the education would simply be unmanageable. Besides that, I don't have an established credit line to support the private loans that might be necessary. In summary, my main questions include: -Should I just go for Mizzou and incur the debt? -If not, Which St. Louis community college should enroll at and how long should I stay before transfering? -Is community college the right idea for my situation and career goals? -What are the negatives/positives of making the decision to go to community college vs. a typical 4-year college? -Realistically, how much does community college cost?

  1 st nobody cares where u go the 1st 2yrs of college. 2nd attend nearest community college get ur AssocA or AssocS pay cash , work in school. 3rd Community college credits transfer to most univ/colleges 4th the credits in Comm.coll will transfer to college that offer Physical Therapy program. 5 understand presently PT. programs are Doctorate costing easy 75- 120K$ be dang sure u want to do it figure on 6long years. 6 u don't study PT info to become a Medical doctor. 7 either PT or MD will incur massive amounts of time and money.
