I need help to get money for school trip?

• Next year, my public middle school is taking a educational trip to Washington, D.C and New York, New York, but the trip costs $2,024 . I need ideas for getting money. Here is my ideas 1. Sell no-bake cookies ($1 each) 2. Sell gift cards for the cost on the card ( if it's legal) 3. raffle ( my great-grandma makes quilts) 4. work for my grandpa this summer for $50 5. garage sale 6. Do chores around the house. I need new ideas for money. First of all, I am 12, so I can't get a job. Any ideas? The trip is our Spring Break 2012. Please and thank you for your time.

  Could you do chores for any of your neighbours e.g Cut their lawns clear up fallen leaves weeding wash their cars dog walking My son did a trek to morocco and with permission from a local supermarket he make a badge and had a bucket with a poster explaining he was raising funds for an educational trip and standing at the end of a till checkout he asked customers if he could help them with packing their grocery's for a small donation. He chatted to people during this and they to him asking about his trip and people were very generous he made about £150.00 I am not sure what that converts into dollars but it certainly helped.
