Cool summer fundraising ideas?

My high school cross country team is looking for ideas for fundraising this summer..?

  • We have already thought of a car wash. If anyone has any original ideas that would help us raise money, it would be much appreciated. Thank you!

    every year, there is a fair in our city. TONS of people come, so there are lots of fundraising opportunities. we sold pancakes, but there were a lot of people selling other food. you could hold a "fun run" sort of thing and sell it to kids at your school and make it a sort of social thing. if you have a fair or any other widely public event it's a great way to either get the word out or sell stuff. good luck!

you could have a water carnival. on a hot day set up various water games such as mini pools slip n slides water ballons sponges ect. each game could cost money and you could sell popsicles and snocones and cold drinks. if you need help on water games try this site http://www.funattic.com/game_water.htm they have many fun games. hope this helped:)

Go around to the local business, they are always willing to give huge amounts of money to sports teams if they are given recognition for it. When I was in High School, our football team tried to raise money with a car wash and made a bout $1000, but then we went to the local business and received over 100,000 dollars for putting the companies names around the fence of the football field. Maybe your cross country team do something like this. It worked for us!

bake sale// mini carnival (like everyone has a booth with little games and whatnot) auction off cross country members like-you can go on a date or you can spend the day with so and so and see how much money you can get//ice cream social.... ice cream isnt that expensive and charge everyone a cover fee.// ahhh car wash is still good even though you thought of it. hope that helps! good luck!

idk if u can afford this, but have a carnival! with fun games and prizes and all that stuff! and have a raffle too! it cud b so much fun and u wud raise alot of money. also try having each member of the team sell a box of candy bars. my sister did it and each box has $50 worth of candy.

car washes bake sale raffel tickets do yards for cheap (you got that endurance) tell all of the team to bring junk they dont want and sell it there are endlless options

sweety sell FREEZES i did it in grade 6 and we raised about 300 dollars or ever more. I MEAN WHO DEOSN'T LOVE FREEZES.
