How can i get into Harvard???

  • how can i get into harvard??? what do i need to do to get into harvard??? im only 12 years old..and i want to know what i must do for the rest of my skool years for me to be able to be accepted to harvard??? and thanx!!!!

    Do your absolute best in school, to start with. Then, when you get to high school, get involved in clubs and activities at school. Student council would be a good thing to put on your Harvard application. Finally, get out in your community and volunteer. A couple of different areas of volunteering would be the best. Try to pick things you are interested in, and through which you are helping a number of people (soup kitchens, good will, agencies that deal with environmental issues, etc.). Saying all that, you need to have superior grades and an excellent SAT score. Do your best, and good luck.

Really good grades. Nothing below a B-. You have to be involved with your community and involved in some kind of activity like dancing or doing a sport.

Take the absolute hardest course load possible at your school, get A+ in all of those classes from 9-12th grade, score in the 95th or higher percentile in all subjects of the SAT, have great reccommendations, spend a long time perfecting your application (especially the essays), apply early decision/action, and go back in time and make sure your grandparents and parents go to harvard. And even if you do all those things, sometimes you still don't get accepted. college is just luck nowadays

First learn to spell, use proper grammar and proper punctuation. Harvard doesn't really approve of text message grammar. Take a full college level course load, get involved in one or two good extracurricular activities, keep grades up, and volunteer in the community.

In order to get into Harvard, you must excel in school and in some extracurricular activity such as sports or music or something else. Harvard accepts very few applicants so be sure to have a backup plan if things don't work out. Good luck
