Can I apply to FAFSA before I have my GED?

I'm in the process of taking classes to pass my GED. I'll be finished by the end of Feburary and take the test soon after. If I'm wanting to go to college in the fall, would it be possible to use the FAFSA site before I've finished or do I need to finish my GED first?

Yes you can! As a matter of fact, you can apply for your FAFSA PIN(Personal Identification Number)as soon as your freshman year of highschool! Just go to www.pin.edu.gov and click "Apply for PIN"

Yes you can apply-- BUT only-- when your GED is finished and you've applied for a college will it be accepted. Unless it's for something other than school then that will depend on where you've sent it...
