How am i gonna get a scholarship?????????????????? help!!!!?

  • So, I am a high school junior and I am really concerned about my career and my universities and all that stuffs such as scholarships, grants and so on....... BUT I have no idea how i am gonna get a scholarship and what i really need to get scholarship... I wanna be a computer programmer and so i am looking forward to go for MIT(massachusetts institute of technology) but the annual and tuition fees are really high ....and i am a poor guy with no backgrounds at all so i wanna work hard, you know... so, can anyone tell me what do i need to get a scholarship? i mean on ACT and GPAs? and will i get a full scholarship?? i mean like ... do i have to pay anything for my college or university? one of my school teacher said that if i get a GPA 3.5 or higher, then i don't have to pay anything for my college...i mean nothing..He said i don't need to worry about money or loans or anything.... is it true? if not, then what do i exactly need to get a full scholarship and move on without obstacles???? help.!!!!! thank you!

  • Answer:

If your parents provide their tax return and it shows a low income you will get grants from the FAFSA but you must apply. A GPA is not that high a GPA so do not expect a scholarship from most colleges with that low a GPA. To get into MIT you would need to get about 2300 on the SAT and a higher GPA.
