Difference between undergraduate and graduate?
-
What is the difference between undergraduate degrees and graduate degrees? Are undergraduate degrees the 4-5 years you spend at university (career) and graduate degrees the masters, PhD, etc.? What are postgraduate degrees then? Thanks

Answer:
Yes, you've got it right. Postgraduate degrees are the Masters, PhDs, MPhils. Postgraduate just means "after graduation". So it's correct to say either 'graduate degree' or postgraduate degree. (post = after, graduate = graduation)

You are an undergrad until you have earned your Bachelor degree. You are a Grad student after that. So you are a Grad student while earning your Masters or Doctorate degrees, which are postgrad degrees.
