How do I prepare myself for a career in International Health?

How should I prepare for College?

  • Hi there, in September I am going to be going to sixth form college. I am currently in year 11 and will be sitting the remainder of my GCSE's in about 2 months. I have chosen to take A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Psychology as I love science and am quite talented at Maths. I am not yet aware of what career I would like to go into but I would like to go to university. I am currently interested in some form of health care or teaching. 1) Are these A Levels good, acceptable, hard ? 2) Do you think I will be good at them. I achieve A's at GCSE in Maths and Science. 3) What should I do in the summer holidays, after I have taken my GCSE's, in order to prepare for these A Levels? 4) Will I have any free time in college as I am aware these are possibly the hardest A Levels you can choose to take. Thank you very much for reading my question :)

  • Answer:

I'm not sure what A levels mean, because I live in the United States, but those classes seem really good for going into a health care job profession like a nurse, doctor, or psychologist. I think that during the summer you should try doing an internship at a the health care profession place that you are really considering. Good luck!
