Is it possible to major in computer science and management of infosystems and minor in computer programming?

Getting a graduate degree in computer science when i have a bs in management?

  • Hello! :) I'm almost 23, and I have a BS in Management Science from a state school. My GPA was 2.98 I've been thinking of going back to school for a graduate degree, but instead of management or anything like that I want to get it in computer programming and web design. Is it possible to get a degree in that even though my undergraduate classes were primarily management classes? I have personal experience in web design. I made my first website when I was like 13 just by teaching my self and sense then have made several more. But not having any kind of formal training I think has held me back. I'd really like to get a degree in something like this but I'd like it to be a graduate degree. Can anyone point me in some sort of direction to where my options are? I don't have any programming experience really, but I pick up really fast because I'm really good with computers. I think my GPA would be much better had I been taking classes that I truly were interested in.. I should have done my BS in computer science! :/

  • Answer:

Which do you really want to work in? Do you want to work in IT? If so you need the degree (either BA or BS in compsci). No reason you can't have 2 majors, decide what you want to do and also what the extra costs will be, etc.
