How to get my GPA straight?

How can I get my GPA up and get into college?

• I'm currently a junior in high school, barely passing grades, and have already been told I need to stay back. I've gotten horrible grades freshman year and sophomore year. I have no idea what my GPA is, but I know it is horrible. I only have around 7 credits, when other people in my grade have around 15-20. But I finally found a goal for the future, something I didn't have before. I want to go to a good college and major in Asian studies and study abroad in Korea. So I'm wondering, what do I have to do to get there? How long will it take for me to get my GPA up and get my high school transcript to look good. I'm fine with staying back and redoing everything to get to a level colleges want. But since I completely screwed up these past years of high school, is that all colleges are going to see and reject me? Sorry for the long question, but I'm completely at a loss here. Any help is appreciated.

  summer school is must if they have that many credits already and you do not. To graduate high school, you need a minimum amount of credits to graduate. At my high school it was 24 at the bare minimum. You need to take electives too to help boost your GPA and get some easy A's. When you need to raise your GPA, Pad it with easy classes so that way if you do not do well in one class, one of the other ones will help make up for it. Also, you need to study and hit the books. If you want to go over seas, you need exceptional grades. First, you need to get accepted to a college and when you are in college, you need to have even better grades to make you a worthy candidate.
