What colleges send stuff?

How do I get colleges to send me stuff? HELP!!!?

  • I have recently taken the ACT & I scored a 22 for the first time ever. (I am a sophomore) I am really interested in planning my colleges, but I want to get a head start. I really would LOVE to get emails and letters in the mail from any college to read information about them and decide which college I should go to. Any help or advice?!? Thank you!

Even better do your own research with unbiased sources such as placing the name of the school into a search engine and using a site such as http://www.collegedata.com/cs/search/college/college_search_tmpl.jhtml to obtain information about each school./

You can visit sites online for different schools in your area or that you would consider. Most of the college websites will have a place for you to request information which means they will bug the hell out of you by sending ou tons of info on the school and why you want to go there. If they don't have a place to do it you can find the an advisor and request info. If that's too much work for you you can put your name on certain lists such as 'Christian colleges', I was put on this list and I still receive all kinda of info on 20 different schools even though I'm already in my second year of college. They're going to contact you now regardless since you took the ACT. I would go to colleges that your interested in and look for where it says "Request Information" also sign up to collegeboard.com and browse through there on colleges. They also have really good information on there about average GPAs for acceptance. And from there you can forgive out about colleges you've never even thought of before

Do your research. Find out what careers you are possibly interested in and then find some colleges that would help you in those fields. Visit their website and request more information about the school.

oftentimes when you apply to take the test you can choose to send your scores to the colleges so try looking into it that way, or ask your guidance counselor! good luck!
