Is Humboldt State University's nursing program good to go on to med school?
-
So money is an issue for me and i am thinking of going to Humboldt State and getting into the nursing program and after wards i want to go to med school such as UCSF or UCLA to get into the trauma field...is their nursing program good enough to prepare me?

Answer:
If you want to be a doctor why would you go to a nursing program first? Nursing is not a step to becoming a doctor. They are two different occupations with two different educational paths. If you are planning on going to med school you will need to get a degree in something like a science first( 4 years) and then go to med school(4 years) and then do your residency(4-8 years). Nursing is not a part of this process.
