Career In Physical Therapy?
-
I want to become a physical therapist one day but the community college I am going to only has physical therapy assistant as an option for a major. I'm planning on transferring after two years to a 4 year school, is there anyway I can still major in physical therapy?

Answer:
Physical Therapy is a graduate program. You need to complete a Bachelors degree in any field along with the required prerequisites for admission into PT school. Each graduate program has their own requirements, but most require undergraduate course work in anatomy, biology, chemistry, social science, mathematics, and physics. To become a physical therapist (not assistant) you need to complete a 3 year Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) You can find PT schools here: http://www.capteonline.org/apta/directories/accreditedschools.aspx?navID=10737421958&site=capte
