Take as many AP and honors classes as you can. They will help prepare you for college and the rigor of pred-med requirements. Focus on math and science courses. They are extremely important. Especially for the MCAT, which is packed with a ton of biology, chemistry, oraganic chem, and physics. It would also be a good idea to improve your reading and writing as well, so taking advanced English classes may be helpful. The MCAT has reading and writing parts and a large vocabulary and good writing skills will be VERY helpful, as most people who take the test feel time crunched....even though the whole test is like 5 hours without any breaks. Taking Honors and AP will also give you a good indication of how well you will do in college. I HIGHLY suggest you take AP chemistry, as this will expose you to more topics before you get thrust into organic chemistry, which is the biggest reason why people switch out of the pre-med track. This and the MCAT of course. I wish you luck!

Credits in high school do not actually translate towards your medical degree. However, if you take AP science classes, like AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics, which are requirements for medical school, and the MCAT , you can save that money for college to take higher level courses. If you make a 4 or higher on AP Exams, most colleges will exempt you from the lower level of that course and place you in a higher level. Good luck! I know you can do it!

All the Chemistry you can, in my opinion Chemistry hurts most pre-med students. Physics too, dont slack off in physics. and Of course Biology, but most of it is just memorizing.
