Where do you go to get a good job - employment agencies, online, school?

Will I not be able to get a great paying job with my law degree if I go to an average law school?

  • If I make great grades and participate in law extracurriculars will it matter where I went to law school? I am a sub-par math student so my math grades are never very high but my other grades are stellar. Even so I could never get accepted to a top 10 school.If I get accepted to an average law school do I have a good chance at getting a $100 K a year job after law school even if I didn't go to a top 10 law school?

Depends on how good a lawyer you turn out to be. You may not get into one of the big law firms as a top gun but there are plenty of lawyers out there who were mediocre at law school and have great careers in real life.

You will have a good chance at getting a great job depending on where you graduate in your class...the higher the better, obviously. Also, most do not start out at the top, you have to work your way up, no matter where you gratuate.

well, a good law-school will make things easier but not your last hope. The best thing you can do is be number 1 at the lawschool you attend and join a popular sorority at yoru school. they tend to look out for each other out in the real world.
